Audit support

Audit-ready accounts, and an auditor who gets answers in hours.

An audit goes badly when the accounts are not ready and the questions go unanswered. We prepare the accounts to audit standard, build the supporting file, and sit between you and the licensed auditor so the process takes weeks, not quarters.

01What is included

The whole job, not the visible half.

Everything below is in scope on the plan that includes audit support & audit-ready accounts. Nothing on this list is an add-on.

  • Financial statements prepared to the applicable standard with full disclosure notes
  • Audit file: reconciliations, schedules, confirmations and supporting documents for every material balance
  • Auditor selection and fee negotiation, from independent licensed firms
  • Day-to-day handling of auditor queries and information requests
  • Adjustments processed and the final accounts agreed
  • Post-audit: management letter points resolved before next year
02Who it is for

Three situations we see every week.

01

UAE companies renewing a free-zone licence

Most free zones require audited accounts annually. Qualifying Free Zone Persons must have them to keep the 0 percent rate.

02

UK companies above the audit threshold

Two of: turnover over £15 million, balance sheet over £7.5 million, more than 50 employees. Groups and some regulated businesses are audited regardless of size.

03

Businesses whose investors or lenders require an audit

A first audit on unprepared books is expensive. Preparation is the difference.

03How it works

Four steps, then a rhythm.

Step 1

Readiness review

Sixty days before year end we test the ledger against what an auditor will ask for and fix the gaps.

Step 2

Prepare

Accounts, notes and the audit file are built from the closed ledger.

Step 3

Manage

The auditor's request list is answered from the file, and queries are resolved by us, escalating to you only where a decision is needed.

Step 4

Close

Adjustments agreed, accounts signed, report issued, filing done.

04By market

The rules differ. So does the work.

The same service, applied to each jurisdiction's law. Figures checked September 2026.

UK

Audit exemption thresholds rose in April 2025 to turnover of £15 million and a balance sheet of £7.5 million, with the employee test at 50. The audit must be by a registered auditor; we prepare and manage, the registered firm audits and signs.

Everything about the UK
UAE

The Corporate Tax Law requires audited financial statements for Qualifying Free Zone Persons and for any taxable person with revenue above AED 50 million. Free-zone authorities set their own requirements for licence renewal, and most require an audit by an approved firm.

Everything about the UAE
USA

There is no general statutory audit requirement for private companies. Audits are driven by investors, lenders, government contracts and some state regulators. Reviews and compilations are lighter alternatives where an audit is not mandated.

06Questions
Do you do the audit?

No. An audit must be independent, so it is performed by a licensed audit firm. We prepare the accounts, build the file and manage the process, which is where most of the cost and delay lives.

Which auditors do you work with?

Independent registered firms in each jurisdiction, chosen for the client. We have no financial arrangement with any of them.

How much does an audit cost?

For a single small entity, from around £4,000 in the UK, AED 8,000 in the UAE and $8,000 in the US, rising with complexity. Preparation reduces the auditor's hours and therefore the fee.

Can you help with a first-time audit?

Yes, and it is where we add the most. First audits fail on opening balances and missing support; we fix both in the readiness review.
