Shaazbook is a trading name of Shaazford Global LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through shaazbook.com and how we use it. Last updated September 2026.
What we collect on this website
- Booking details. When you use the booking page you give us your name, email, phone number, the topic you want to discuss and any note you add. These are passed to Calendly, which hosts the calendar, and to us, so we can prepare for and hold the call.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. Google sets cookies for this. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
- Messages you send. If you email or WhatsApp us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of the engagement.
The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us.
What we collect during an engagement
To provide accounting, tax and payroll services we process financial records, identity documents required by anti-money-laundering law, employee data for payroll, and correspondence with tax authorities and registrars. The legal basis is performance of our contract with you and compliance with our legal obligations. Details are set out in the engagement letter.
Who we share it with
Software providers we use to deliver the service (accounting platforms, receipt capture, secure document exchange, scheduling), tax authorities and registrars where we are instructed to file, licensed audit and partner firms where a filing requires them, and professional advisers where necessary. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. Data may be processed in any of these. Where UK or EU data is transferred outside those regions we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Engagement records are kept for the period required by law in the relevant jurisdiction, typically six to seven years after the end of the engagement. Website enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Contact info@shaazford.com. UK residents may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
